‘Tis The Season Book Tag

Hey guys! Today I am going to be doing the ”Tis The Season’ Book Tag! So this tag was originally created by RichardDenney and as the festive part of the month draws closer, I just thought that this would be a fitting tag… Also, I love Christmas and I love tags (even if I was not tagged to do this!) 

1.Do you have a favorite winter read?

I want to go with Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone (Illustrated) for this one but lets face it, you can read Harry Potter any time of the year and still love and enjoy it! So for this one I am going to go with My True Love Gave To Me by Stephanie Perkins and a bunch of different authors. This is basically, a contemporary novel- anthology! It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and I love that feeling!

2. Find a book with blue on the cover!

For this one I am going to go with, Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi which is the second book in the Shatter Me Series! If you just look at the cover it will give you a very wintery feeling as it a frozen beauty!

3. Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree!

I am going to go with I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson because that cover and book is beautiful and it shines out like a star to me among LGBT and Contemporary Young Adult novels! Also, it kind of looks like the sun (the cover) and the sun is also a star, at least thats what I learnt at school…

4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation!

You know what place I would go to any time of the year?! Hogwarts! Also, at Hogwarts, at this time of the year, they have big feasts and celebrations and they have Christmas crackers and I really want to be a part of that! I could even go to the Weasley household for the holidays and get my own sweater! YEAH! I would love that!

5. Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation!

I would take William Herondale or Rhysand with me whether I go to Hogwarts or The Weasley Household! I love both of them and I would not leave my two boys behind for the world… You know what, I would travel back in time before Will had met Tessa and then make him my boyfriend and then come back here with him so Tessa can’t steal him from me… and then go to Hogwarts!

6. Name one book on your wish list this year!

I REALLY REALLY want The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire by Daniel Howell and Phil Lester. Dan and Phil are two of my favorite YouTubers of all time and I have been waiting for this book for a while now and I want to get it in physical copy because apparently, Dan and Phil spent days trying the select the type of paper to print on and they selected one which has a really nice smell, and now… I want to smell it! So yeah, I want TABINOF!

7. Favorite holiday drink, treat, & movie?

I love to drink hot chocolate during this time of the year and I love to eat cake (all throughout the year but especially this time)! I also love eating fortune cookies and chocolate chip ice cream or an ice cream sandwich! My favorite christmas movie is Arthur Christmas. I just love the story and I remember going to see it in the theatre when it came out and I re watch it every year!
